About Ginger
I have been a massage therapist since 1994, having been certified in California. I moved to New Mexico in 2005 and became licensed to practice in this State in 2006.
I am proficient in using various modalities, such as Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone therapy, reflexology, trigger point therapy, breath therapy and a technique called Raindrop Therapy using pure essential oils. I have had great success in helping clients overcome frozen shoulders, plantar fasciatis, neck pain, headaches, back pain and stress. Also, by using pure essential oils I have helped clients relieve the discomfort that accompanies scoliosis.
I have developed a real passion using Raindrop Therapy and have seen many positive physical reactions to that therapy. Not only is it extremely relaxing, many of the oils used in this therapy help to increase circulation and decrease inflammation and help relieve some of the pain of arthritis and fibromyalgia. This therapy is derived from a Lakota Indian technique using feathered finger stroking. Gary Young of Young Living Essential Oils developed the Raindrop technique using the feathering hand technique, along with pure essential oils and found this to be a profound combination. Using these oils in other modalities is extremely effective and results are amazing. The relaxation is something you have to experience to appreciate.
I have been a certified LaStone massage therapist since 2001. This modality is exceptionally effective when combined with the Raindrop technique. It incorporates the use of basalt and marble stones; basalt stones conducting heat and marble stones relieving inflammation.
I am a second-level Reiki practitioner (energy work) and incorporate that modality into my massages.
I have been doing massage since 1994 and it never gets “old”. I feel truly blessed to be in a profession where I know that I am contributing to the well-being of those people who seek me out for treatment.
